Hey there everyone! We’re back after a prolonged hiatus ready again to educate you all about the impact of various media on those who inhabit these United States, specifically our younger populations. In case you are new, this here is the official blog of K3mistry Productions called Tit 4 Tat. Though we had plans scheduled for the beginning of this year (cue the eye roll) much of what we anticipated did not fall through. Nevertheless, we did have many successes. In this blog post, we will be highlighting those accomplishments as well as some future plans (which will come to fruition this time around…).

Let’s begin with the most exciting news! Some of you might remember from our last post that K3mistry Productions was looking into book publishing. This resulted in K3mistry establishing a subsidiary publishing company called Escape. This past April, Escape managed to publish the book Pathway to Heaven, which is part of a larger collection of books called The Red Series. Since its publication, over 40 copies of Pathway to Heaven have been sold throughout the United States, including Hawaii. We’d like to add that the profits from these books sales are being used to establish a scholarship fund for underprivileged high school youth in Connecticut who plan on attending college after graduation. That being said, Escape is continuing to promote the first book in The Red Series through multiple avenues. K3mistry Productions has even set up a YouTube channel for Escape with videos serving as intermediary stories between book releases. Check out one of those videos here:

Another aspect of K3mistry Productions has always been music. The album “higher,” released last autumn, sold multiple copies and continues being streamed today. We have a full post highlighting the mindset behind this album which you all should definitely check out. During Halloween of this year, K3mistry Productions released a follow-up mixtape entitled “Return to the Batcave.” return-to-the-batcave-cover-artIf you haven’t gotten a chance yet, we encourage you to listen and download a copy for free, especially since K3mistry is working on growing a larger following in music. We will most likely make a post specifically about this mixtape and its aims within the next two weeks. Proceeds from any music-related ventures, as well as book sales to a certain extent, are being used to buy equipment, network, and eventually build and office space for K3mistry Productions and its future employees.

Speaking of future endeavors, K3mistry Productions has constantly been looking for a helping hand with regards to filming and putting together videos, whether they be linked to music, roundtable discussions, and so on. This need for film experts has stalled many of K3mistry’s announced projects, such as a youth panel discussion on black women in the media. As progress continues to be made in that department, we will update you all. Concluding today’s post, we would like everyone out there to know that Tit 4 Tat will be operating from now on every Tuesday. In contrast to the past, we will be uploading multiple posts instead of just one each Tuesday. If you have any content that you would like to see, please feel free to leave a comment or email Tit 4 Tat directly at k3mistyproductions.gmail.com. For those who have left comments in the past, expect a response next Tuesday! Thank you for reading, and we hope to hear from you all soon!
